Ingredients
For the Meatballs:
- 1 pack of Hull’s Platinum Steak Meatballs
- 2 cups cooked pasta (such as penne or rotini)
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Cook the Meatballs:
- In a pan, brown the meatballs on all sides over medium heat until cooked through.
- Remove the meatballs from the pan and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce:
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir until the herbs and spices are evenly distributed.
Assemble the Casserole:
- In a baking dish, spread half of the cooked pasta on the bottom.
- Place the cooked meatballs on top of the pasta.
- Pour the tomato sauce mixture evenly over the meatballs.
Add Cheese:
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the casserole.
Bake:
- Cover the baking dish with aluminium foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve
- Remove the casserole from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley, if desired.
