Ingredients
- 225g chow mein noodles
- 1 packet of your favourite Hull’s Sausage
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 bell peppers, thinly sliced (use a mix of colors for visual appeal)
- 2 carrots, julienned
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 60ml soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 120ml cup chicken broth
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add your Hull’s sausage and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove the Hull’s sausages from the wok and set aside.
- In the same wok, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the sliced onion, bell peppers, and julienned carrots. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.
- Add the shredded cabbage and minced garlic to the wok. Continue to stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cabbage is wilted.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sugar. Pour the sauce over the vegetables in the wok.
- Return the cooked sausage to the wok and add the chicken broth. Toss everything together to combine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

- Continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the noodles are heated through.
